Monique + Austin

Monique and Austin’s wedding this past Saturday was like watching my dream Pinterest board come to life! The florals, the cake, the dress, everything is what some say, “goals”. It was an extremely beautiful day, and part of the bride and groom’s personalities shined through in all of their details.

Tom and I always love working at Wolf Oak Acres, and were even more excited this time because we were finally getting a look inside the newly built cabins! The gorgeous layout made it so nice for the wedding party to get ready, and so fun for us to shoot a ton of different interesting angles. This was only our third time with Monique and Austin, and it was really fun to be able to spend the day with them and learn more about them! It was clear to see that they had a really special group of friends who loved them a lot! From popping bottles on the deck overlooking the valley venue,, to pre-ceremony bridesmaids group hugs, we were smiles the entire morning!

Just a short party bus ride over to the church, Monique’s dad stood waiting to see his little girl as a bride. The moment was sweet as I clicked my shutter as fast as my eyelids, trying to keep the tears away! Man, those father- daughter moments, they get me every time! Monique started her new chapter in her life wrapped around her dad’s arm, as she made her way down the aisle filled with smiling guests and lined with lush greenery and white bouquets on every pew. A string quartet played as she and Austin exchanged rings and promised themselves to each other for life, and sealed it with a kiss.

Back to Wolf Oak we went, where the already beautiful venue was transformed. Everything was dripping in Greenery; chandeliers, tables, and extravagant centerpieces. The head table was lined with the same gorgeous greenery and Monique and Austin’s sweetheart chairs were defined with a stunning arch of florals. Every detail was just perfection, even the cutlery was beautiful! Dinner was a huge spread of all the best southern comfort food, and dessert was an enormous cake big enough to feed an army, (pun intended!) After dancing and photo booth fun, Monique and Austin were sent off with a sparkler exit!

Congratulations Monique and Austin, and thank you for inviting us to be a part of your special day! We wish you both the absolute best!
