We are so excited to share Emily and John’s wedding! They have got to be the sweetest of the sweetest couple and Tom and I consider ourselves lucky that we had the honor of capturing their wedding!
Emily and John met at Suny Geneseo where a hanging Yankees flag in Johns Dorm and a 9 am class helped bring them together. They began walking to that class together and eventually over time all of those hours of Emily waking up early to get dolled up for John paid off, even if he did miss some of those classes. Fast forward to now, the two are living near the big apple, working hard and planning for their future together!
Their wedding day began with high energy and if you can believe it, ended on on even higher energy! The entire day was filled with emotions, especially during the ceremony held at the beautiful Holy Family Church in Syracuse. The deacon shared so many beautiful words and there was a powerful presence felt throughout the service.
Sky Armory in downtown Syracuse warmly welcomed Emily and John’s guests and filled their empty stomachs with the most delicious food you can imagine! Following cocktail hour were the wedding party introduction, dancing, and toasts that brought tears to our eyes in remembrance of those who were not there in body but surely there in spirit.
After filling up even more with an incredible dinner the guests rolled themselves onto the dance floor to burn off those calories! Burn, baby burn, they surely did! That dance floor was packed and everyone was having an amazing time celebrating Emily and John!
It was an amazing day for one truly incredible couple! Congratulations Emily and John!
