Hello future friend! We’re so happy you stumbled onto our “meet the team” page! First things first, let us introduce ourselves- we’re Lexi and Tom, the partners behind Tom Studios Photography! We share a love of capturing human connection and realize the incredible significance a photo can hold! We have been blessed to capture over a decade worth of weddings and each and every one is so special to us!

We decided to pour our heart, sweat, and blood into a camper van! When we first picked up this van, it was filled with roofing materials, but somehow Tom and I could still envision our dream, and quickly got to work! Now that it is fully finished, with a kitchen, dining table, seating, and a full-sized bed, our house is starting to look a little jealous of how much time we are spending inside the van instead!
Our van also allows us to move between shoots far easier than it was before, so for that reason travel is now included throughout all of New York for weddings!

Wedding Travel Included

Meet Josh
It’s important to get to know your photographer before your wedding. I’ll be right beside you for the entire day on one of the biggest days of your life. To tell the truth, I never expected to be shooting weddings, but I kinda just fell into it, and found out that it’s one of my favorite things to do. As embarrassing as it is to say, I’m a hopeless romantic, and I absolutely love weddings.
I try to take a very photojournalistic approach to wedding photos. I find that’s really the best way to capture special moments between you and the people you choose to surround yourself with. What I really mean by that is that I want you to be fully immersed in the wedding day experience. Enjoy the time you have with your friends and family. The last thing I want you to be thinking about is looking good in front of the camera. Just have fun, and I’ll take care of the rest. If you do find yourself needing any sort of help or direction, I’m good for that too.

Hi, I’m Belma, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to capture your special day. Photography has always been a big part of my life, and five years ago I decided to take a leap of faith and turn that passion into a career, capturing people’s most meaningful moments.
I’ve always loved photographing my family and friends, and I make it a priority to capture our family photos every year. Photos allow us to look back, relive those moments, and hold onto memories forever.
My favorite thing to capture is the love between couples and families. On your special day, I will make sure to document every detail and every emotion, so you can relive your day through your photos for years to come.
