Tom met Ricky back at college, and was super excited when he messaged us asking to document his and Katie’s new chapter together! I had never met either of them before and as we took a trip up north to their new house they bought, and I asked Tom what Ricky was like and he summed it up with “He’s just really cool, you’ll love him.” Tom’s never steered me wrong before, and go figure, Ricky (and his sweetheart Katie) were two cool cats! The entire shoot felt less like a first-time photo shoot, and more like a hangout with good friends! They invited us into their home, introduced us to their three fur babies, and made some late night- breakfast (the best kind of dinner!) Ricky and Katie make breakfast together every. single. morning and the fact that we got to capture them in their element was very special and sweet!
