Rebecca + Jeremy

A wedding photographer being asked to be the wedding photographer of ANOTHER wedding photographer is a HUGE deal. That’s what happened when Rebecca approached us 2 years back when she got engaged! Now a question Tom and I hear all the time is “Who will be your wedding photographer?” and we’re sure Rebecca got that all the time too! Plus with a question like that you know it’s because, of course, who wouldn’t wish they could just do it themselves? So the fact that Rebecca and Jeremy chose us really means so much to us, and we were so honored that we got to be a part of it!

Time flies by, and it seems like on the bigger, more significant days in your life, it goes by even faster. More things to worry about, and more things going on minute to minute, so it becomes harder to take a step back and be present in the day. It’s hard for everyone to “stop and smell the roses” sometimes, and we constantly hear from our couples, ” I can’t believe how fast the day went” proving how important being present in the moment is. Rebecca and Jeremy were totally and completely present from morning till night. Not a moment felt rushed, or filled with stress. Rebecca and Jeremy smiled when they were happy and moved to tears when they were overwhelmed with love. We watched them throughout the day as they embraced every emotion and let the day evolve naturally. Of course, as a wedding photographer Rebecca just “got it”. She understood the importance of a timeline and just as Rebecca is an awesome photographer, she and Jeremy are an awesome couple to photograph!

So before you scroll down to look at all the sweet moments from their day, we think it should be known HOW Rebecca and Jeremy met! Can anyone take a guess? It was at a wedding of all places, must have been fate. Jeremy was playing drums in the wedding band and Rebecca was the photographer. Jeremy was stealing glances at Rebecca between sets and Rebecca was stealing glances at Jeremy from behind the lens. We think that’s pretty darn adorable that they found love while doing something that they both love at a wedding that’s all about… you guessed it, love!

So enough talking, go check out the blog and bring tissues because I cried just about 100 times while working on these! Rebecca and Jeremy, we seriously cannot thank you enough for putting your trust in us and letting us join in on your wedding day, words can’t describe what a “picture perfect” day it was! Congratulations!
